AI GOVERNANCE DESK CONTRIBUTOR AGREEMENT

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This Agreement is between AI Governance Desk (“Platform”, “we”) and you (“Contributor”).

1. Nature of Relationship

You are a voluntary independent contributor. This is not employment, partnership, or agency. There is no guarantee of payment and no obligation to publish a minimum number of articles. You retain full control over when and what you submit.

2. Ownership and Attribution

You retain 100% ownership of your content. Every article is published with clear attribution to you, including your name, short bio, and professional links (e.g., LinkedIn).

You grant the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, distribute, and promote your content on aigovernancedesk.com and its affiliated channels (LinkedIn, newsletter) with full credit. You may republish your content anywhere else at any time.

3. Contributor Responsibilities

a) You will prepare your article directly on the Platform, including all text, formatting, and any visuals, charts, or diagrams you deem necessary.

b) You warrant that your content is original, you own the rights to all visuals uploaded, you have permission to use any third-party material, and all sources are properly cited.

c) You agree to submit your draft for admin review and approval before publication.

4. Platform Responsibilities

a) The Platform will review submissions for quality, originality, and accuracy and will approve or provide actionable feedback.

b) Upon approval, the Platform will publish the article under your name and distribute it on relevant platforms.

c) The Platform will maintain your author profile and author archive page.

5. Revenue Share

The Platform currently generates no revenue. When revenue begins, 50% of Net Revenue will be allocated to an Active Contributor Pool.

Net Revenue means gross revenue from the Site (including ads, sponsorships, and premium products) minus direct operating costs: hosting, domain, email/newsletter tools (e.g., beehiiv), and payment processing fees.

Active is defined as: at least 1 approved article published in the last 90 days.

Distribution will be proportional to pageviews your articles generated in that 90-day period. A full calculation sheet will be shared quarterly. This will be implemented via an addendum when revenue starts.

6. Work Opportunities

Any client or employer inquiries received via the Platform for a Contributor’s expertise will be forwarded directly to that Contributor at no charge. The Platform takes no commission and is not a party to any subsequent agreement between you and a third party.

7. Termination and Content Removal

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by written notice to [email protected].

You may request removal of your articles at any time. The live article will be removed from aigovernancedesk.com within 14 days of your request. Removal applies to the live page only; we cannot delete already-sent newsletters, social posts, or cached/search engine copies.

8. Beyond Writing β€” Contributor Input

Contributors who want to be more involved are welcome to help shape the Platform. This can include suggesting editorial topics, recommending new features, or advising on growth.

We may ask for your input through contributor calls, short surveys, or a private contributor channel. This participation is completely voluntary.

This input does not create any partnership, equity, employment, or decision-making authority. Final decisions about the Platform’s direction, features, and operations remain solely with AI Governance Desk.

By submitting your first article for approval, you agree to these terms.

Disclaimer: This is a simple community agreement for a voluntary collective, not legal advice. Please seek independent legal advice if needed.
